Our desire at Taylor Creek Church is for young people to become committed followers of Jesus Christ by leading them to a saving knowledge of Him, helping them grow in their relationship with Him, and finding the place He has for them to serve.

Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Our next event:

a 30 day Bible Study

  • Help the youth to establish a daily habit of being in the Scripture

  • Teach an inductive method of Bible study that the youth can implement in their ongoing walk with Christ

  • Increase opportunity for fellowship among the students

  • Develop a setting where we can directly challenge the youth to grow in their ability to rightly divide the Scripture and apply it specifically and accurately to be doers of the word (James 1:22).

  • Meet for four Saturdays in April - 1st, 8th, (not meeting the 15th), 22nd, 29th

  • Location: Youth room

  • Time: 8-9am

  • Daily work in the Scripture will be assigned. This will provide the basis for discussion and instruction when we meet.

  • We will be working our way through the book of        1 Peter

Junior High and High School meet at 9am to study God’s word. Come join us as we learn the incredible depths of Scripture, and how we should respond in living out our faith. We are doing a verse by verse study of the book of 2 Timothy. Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, pens his last words and provides an eternal perspective on how to live for Christ despite being surrounded by a culture that is deteriorating.

We meet from 6pm to 8pm for a time of fellowship, games/activities and the study of God’s Word. Our current series is a verse by verse study of the life of Christ in the book of Matthew. As we consider how His Kingship is declared in this Gospel account, we will spend time looking at specific application for the life and walk of a Junior High and/or High School student.
