Titus 2 Thursdays
Titus 2 Thursdays
We invite you to join us Thursday mornings from 9:20am to 11:45 at the
church as we study God's Word together in Bible Study and develop
personal growth through the application of God's Word in small sharing
groups. Workshops are offered to help equip and encourage us
as women to better serve our Lord in our God-given roles with our
individual gifts and abilities.
Our Children's ministry offers a fun and creative way for children 2
years-Kindergarten to study the Bible and Worship God through different
activities and songs. Group activities and snacks are provided.
Nursery is also available for mothers with babies from newborn to age 2.
Session One: Trusting in God's Sovereignty: October 16 - February 5
This is a 10 week study using Jerry Bridges' book "Trusting God Even When Life Hurts."
Each of us at any given moment can find ourselves encountering an
unexpected circumstance in our lives. Sometimes those moments are good
and come at just the right time, while others leave us feeling confused
and frustrated and for some devestated. It is during these types of
circumstances where we find ourselves questioning God's goodness,
wondering why this is happening to me. These are real questions to
everyday circumstances. In this study you will gain a greater
understanding of God's sovereignty over nations, nature, and people in
general, as well as the details of your own individual life. As we
grapple with our Savior's loving control in our lives you will gain a
better understanding of who He is, resulting in greater peace and
trust. In the words of C.H. Spurgeon "The sovereignty of God is the
pillow upon which the child of God rests his head at night giving
perfect peace."
Homework books will be available beginning October 5th. Make plans to pick up your study and register for Titus.
This is an 11 week study through the book of Ruth.
Listed as probably one of the greatest romance stories in all of Scripture and yet it is so much more. The book of Ruth will inspire you to a greater commitment to your Savior and family. We will study the life of Ruth, a young, bereaved Moabite woman who leaves all she knows behind to follow her widowed mother-in-law back to Bethlehem. You will witness first-hand God's sovereign hand as He lovingly superintends the details of their lives as they encounter poverty, rejection, personal danger, and then ultimately redemption through the wealthy benefactor Boaz. This is a beautiful portrait of a woman of excellence and the redemption that is offered to us through our Savior Jesus Christ.
Homework books will be available for this study January 25th.
Workshops:
"Ministering Through Your Home"
This year’s workshops will be a time of demonstrating different hobbies and talents centered around the kitchen that the Lord has gifted to various women in our church body. These workshops are designed to help equip us to better minister to our families and to those whom the Lord would have us show hospitality toward. Workshops may also include personal testimonies and how the Lord can use even our homes for His Glory.

Read Through The Bible
| In this online version of the popular tract, each day includes a reading from the Old Testament and New Testament. Starting in Genesis and Matthew, the readings continue sequentially, and over the course of a year, you will never read the same passage twice. |
