Awana

Awana is a group of clubs, based on age, that teach children about God's word through fun, games and age appropriate Bible lessons.  Children participate in games, story time, crafts and handbook time.  Clubs meet Thursday nights from 6:15-8:00pm beginning each year in September and running through May.  New Clubbers are welcome all year, simply register your child any Thursday evening. Download the registration form by clicking here and bring it with you to club. For additional information, please contact Taylor Creek Church at (425) 432-0634 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Adult Ministry

It is our purpose and heart’s desire that Taylor Creek Church’s Christian Education Ministry be a place where  everyone can mature in their faith, growing to love and serve Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Bible.

Children's Ministry

We believe that children are a gift of the Lord (Ps 127:3), and because of this we are to be good stewards of our responsibility to "train up a child in the way he should go" (Prov 22:6). While the duty of spiritual training primarily lies with the parents (Eph 6:1, 4), we rejoice in the opportunities to come alongside the family and minister to the children of our congregation and their friends.  There are several avenues in which to have your child sit under biblical instruction, and some of these are detailed below:

Men's Ministry

The Men’s ministry at Taylor Creek exists for the purpose of reaching men and drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, encouraging them in their walk, worship, work and family in order that they can be all that God has called them to be, in their home, church and the world.

On the third Saturday of every month at 8:00am, we hold a Men's Breakfast in the Main Sanctuary for a time of teaching, prayer and fellowship.

We are currently going through "knowing God" by J.I. Packer.  Books and study guides are available in the church foyer for a suggested donation of $20.

Come and join us, or contact us if you would like more information.

2010 Missions Conference Schedule

  Missions_side_2_2010

Part of our Purpose and Mission is to "Make Christ's  love known to our neighbors and all nations". To help us fulfill this Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20), our Missions Committee oversees the following:

Missions participation -  A partnership in evangelism; Our goal is that this becomes the attitude of the whole church as we work with the missionaries we support that are already in the field or hoping to go to the field soon.  We hope to support their needs, write to them regularly and keep the church body up to date on their activities.  It is our hope that each family in the church will individually adopt a missionary family to support.

Missions visibility — Understand the burden we all have collectively to reach the lost of this world; To spread God's word as a church and as individuals.  To remind the body of the work missionaries are doing in the field day to day.

Promote Missions locally -  Do our part to spread God's word locally.

Nursery

The Nursery is operated by a team of volunteers. Our goal is to keep a ratio of one adult (18 years or older) to every four children, with a minimum of two at all times. Girls 14 to 18 years old, who have completed our screening process, may also assist. All teen sitters will be assigned to serve with two adults, and only one teen sitter usually assists during any given session. Girls as young as 12 may also work on approval and with their mothers. The staff provides consistent, loving care for babies and toddlers during all our regular services.

Read Through The Bible

In this online version of the popular tract, each day includes a reading from the Old Testament and New Testament. Starting in Genesis and Matthew, the readings continue sequentially, and over the course of a year, you will never read the same passage twice.
