What are Awana Clubs?
Awana is a group of clubs, based on age, that build character and confidence. Children participate in games, story time, crafts, and handbook time. Awana clubs encourage kids by providing an opportunity to earn awards each club night. Clubs meet Thursday nights from 6:15 - 8:00 pm. New clubbers are welcome all year, simply come any Thursday evening. Early TCC registration will be held Sunday, September 9th.
Awana Clubs:
Cubbies: Children who will attend kindergarten within two years. Must be 3 years old by September 1.
Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Truth & Training: 3rd grade through 6th grade.
Club Dues:
Dues help to provide the funds needed for awards, prizes and special events. Dues are $36 per child. In addition, children wear a simple uniform that varies in price $10 - $23 based on the club, and each child will use a handbook that is $7.50. Assistance is available for those who need it: please see the Commander for information.
Volunteers:
Awana is a wonderful ministry to be a part of. We always welcome new volunteers. Our main current needs are 1 PT Nursery worker (approx. 2-3 times a month) and 2 Sparks Workers. Please contact Kim Myers for more information or to volunteer.
