Who We Are

Taylor Creek Church is part of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. We are a Bible-teaching church which holds to salvation by faith alone, in Christ alone, unmerited, by God's grace. We believe the Scriptures are relevant and authoritative for every generation and that they are sufficient to build our faith, to equip us for every good work, to judge our lives as pleasing to the Lord, and to give wisdom and counsel for all that we face in this life. We are committed to the encouragement and building of strong families and individuals through the systematic teaching of the Word of God.

Statement of Faith

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is inerrant in the original writings. We believe that this divine inspiration extends equally to each word and to all parts.

We believe that all the Scriptures center on the Lord Jesus Christ, both the Old and New Testament and is the believer’s sole authority.

We believe that Scripture is to be taken in its natural and literal sense, recognizing the interpreter must not appeal to literary forms which cast doubt on the reliability or the morality of the Divine Author of Scripture.

We believe that all Scriptures were designed for our practical instruction.

Our Purpose and Mission

Our Purpose:
Giving people Direction For Life by leading them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and growing them through the teaching of His Word.

Colossians 1:28 "And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ."

Our Mission:

To Magnify Christ through Worship and the Word.

To Move believers in Christ toward Maturity and Ministry.

To Make Christ's love known to our Neighbor's and all Nations.
