It is our goal to equip women to understand God’s Word, to provide opportunities to use their spiritual gifts to serve the needs of the body of Christ, and to provide outreach opportunities for fellowship and evangelism.
Here you will find unique avenues through which women are able to accomplish these goals within our church and the community of Maple Valley, Washington. Purpose Statement
To exalt Christ through discipleship, worship, ministry, and fellowship, that we may present ourselves "mature; lacking in nothing . . ." James 1:4.
Our Mission
To "equip the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God . . ." Ephesians 4:12-13.
Scripture Verses
I Timothy 2:9-10, "Women are to adorn themselves with . . . good works, as befits women making a claim to godliness."
Hebrews 10:24-25, "Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."
Proverbs 24:3, "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches."
Ministry Goals
Equipping: To equip women to understand God's Word that they may live lives consistent with God's will. Activities include: worship, Bible studies, homemaking workshops, prayer, discipleship groups, and annual retreats.
Serving: To provide opportunities for women to use their spiritual gifts to serve the needs of the body. Activities include: wedding coordinators, food service, kitchen supply, kitchen workers, seasonal decorating, funerals, baby and bridal showers, newcomers dinners, Sunday morning refreshments, and prayer chain.
Reaching: To provide outreach opportunities for fellowship and evangelism.
